Navier-Stokes Equation and Computational Scheme for Non-Newtonian Debris Flow

چکیده
This paper proposes a computational approach to debris flow model. In recent years, the theoretical activity on the classical Herschel-Bulkley model (1926) has been very intense, but it was in the early 80s that the opportunity to explore the computational model has enabled considerable progress in identifying the subclasses of applicability of different sets of boundary conditions and their approximations. Here we investigate analytically the problem of the simulation of uniform motion for heterogeneous debris flow laterally confined taking into accountmainly the geological data andmethodological suggestions derived from simulationwith cellular automata and grid systems, in order to propose a computational scheme able to operate a compromise between “global” predictive capacities and computing effort.

Mathematical modelling of Sisko fluid flow through a stenosed artery
In the present study, the nonlinear model of non-Newtonian blood flow in cosine-shape stenosed elastic artery is numerically examined. The model is carried out for axisymmetric, two-dimensional and fully developed blood flow. The vessel wall is assumed to be have time-dependent radius that is important factor for study of blood flow. The cosine-shape stenosis convert to rigid artery by using a ...
متن کاملFinite Integral Transform Based Solution of Second Grade Fluid Flow between Two Parallel Plates
The importance of the slip flow over the no-slip condition is widely accepted in microscopic scaled domains with the direct impact on microfluidic and nanofluidic systems. The popular Navier Stoke’s (N-S) flow model is largely utilized with the slip flow phenomenon. In the present study, the finite integral transform scheme along with the shift of variables is implemented to solve the equation ...

The estimation of wave loads on very large flouting structure is usually done by an empirical or a computational approach. The computational approach usually assumes two types. Some use the Laplace equation or potential flow and some take the Navier-Stokes equation or viscous flow analysis. In this study, the interaction between wave and elastic plate is investigated by using viscous flow assum...
متن کاملA triangular discontinuous Galerkin method for non-Newtonian implicit constitutive models of rarefied and microscale gases
The discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method has been popular as a numerical technique for solving the conservation laws of gas dynamics. In the present study, we develop an explicit modal DG scheme for multi-dimensional conservation laws on unstructured triangular meshes in conjunction with non-Newtonian implicit nonlinear coupled constitutive relations (NCCR). Special attention is given to how to t...
متن کاملTraveling Wave Solutions of 3D Fractionalized MHD Newtonian Fluid in Porous Medium with Heat Transfer
In the present paper, we get exact solutions of Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) of the fractionalized three-dimensional flow of Newtonian fluid with porous and heat transfer through the traveling wave parameter. The governing equations are produced dependent on established Navier-stokes equations which can be diminished to ordinary differential equation by wave parameter ξ=ax+by+nz+Utα/Γ(α...
